Sonja [21]

The correct answer is: "Mexico would get Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico"

Arthur Zimmerman (1864-1940) was the State Secretary for Foreign Affairs of the German Empire during 1916 and 17. He is mostly known because of the secret communication he sent to Mexico during WWI, in January of 1917,  called the Zimmerman Telegram.

The communication was intercepted by the British intelligence bodies, and caused the opposite effects to the desired ones. It enraged the US, that ended up declaring the war to Germany in April 1917.

nikitadnepr [17]

Answer:

The terrorist attack on the USS Cole in 2000 was the attack that preceded the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center. It was significant because it showed that Al Qaeda was not scared after the American response to the attacks in the American embassies in Africa in 1998.

Explanation:

The attack against the USS Cole was a suicidal attack perpetrated by an al Qaeda cell against the US Navy destroyer USS Cole on October 12, 2000, while it was anchored in the Yemeni port of Aden. The final result of the attack was the death of 17 sailors and the two terrorists in charge of the attack, in addition to 39 wounded of diverse consideration.

With this attack, Al Qaeda showed that it was willing to maintain a constant confrontation with the United States.
