Answer:

6 ounces

Step-by-step explanation:

So set your equation up as

12(x)+20(6)=16(x+6)

You set it up this way because with the first number you know the percet but not the ounces so your ounces would be x. The second set you know percet and ounces (the percent will alway go outside the parenthesis). then the last number is waht it wil equal; again we know the percent but not the product. We put x+6 in the parenthesis because you are adding the ounces your don't know(x) wiht the ones you do (6).

To solve distribute

12x+120=16x+96

Now all you have to do is solve for x. Subtract the 96 over then subtract the 12x over, so it would look like this.

12x+120=16x+96

      -96         -96

12x+24=16x

-12x       -12x

24=4x    Now simply divide by 4 and you get 6=x

Answer:

\frac{1}{25}

Step-by-step explanation:

Probability of first yellow ball=\frac{total\ yellow\ ball}{Total\ ball}=\frac{2}{10}=\frac{1}{5}

Since first ball is again placed in the bag

Probability of second yellow ball=\frac{total\ yellow\ ball}{Total\ ball}=\frac{2}{10}=\frac{1}{5}

These two are independent events so the probability of both yellow balls==\frac{1}{5} \times \frac{1}{5} =\frac{1}{25}

On a boat ride tour there are half as many children as there are adults. There are 30 people on the tour. How many children are
xenn [34]
Total number of people on boat=30
Half as many children as adults means:
Number of children = 1/2 ( Adults)
Let number of adults= A
Then equation is:
A+ \frac{1}{2}A = 30 \\
Multiply \ both \ sides \ by \ 2. \\
2A+A=60 \\
3A=60 \\
A=20 \\
So number of children= 1/2 x 20 =10

g100num [7]

Answer:

r = 8 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Circumference of circle = 50.24 cm

                         2πr         = 50.24

                    2 * 3.14 * r   = 50.24

                                   r = \frac{50.24}{2*3.14}=\frac{5024}{2*314}\\\\\\\\

                                  r = 8 cm
