The Proclamation of 1763, it drew a line along the crest of the Appalachian Mountain Range, and declared that no white settlemen
Mrrafil [7]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

There is no question here. Just a statement. If this is a true or false question, then the answer is "true."

It is true that the Proclamation of 1763, it drew a line along the crest of the Appalachian Mountain Range, and declared that no white settlement could take place west of that line. It was significant because it drew a "color line" in North America and admitted Indigenous Peoples had sovereignty.

After the English victory over the French in the French and Indian War, George III, the King of England, issued the Proclamation of 1763. It established an imaginary line that divided the East coast American colonists settlings from the western Indian territories. The idea was that white colonists respected the Native American Indian tribe's territories and forbid the invasion of their lands.

Explain the decisive battle of the war. Give the name of the victorious American Civil War camp.
LuckyWell [14K]

Answer:

The turning point of the Civil War was the Battle of Gettysburg, fought near Gettysburg , Pennsylvania , on July 1-3, 1863. The Northern Virginia army, commanded by Confederate chief commander, Gen. Robert E. Lee, faced the Union Army of the Potomac headed by Gen. George G. Meade. After having smashed Union forces at Chancellorsville, Lee invaded the North for a second time. The battle lasted 3 days of ferocious, bloody and brutal fight. The most famous part of the battle is the charge of Gen. George Pickett´s  division with 15,000 men against the lines of the Northern infantry, an action that ended in utter failure. The stakes were high: Lee had invaded Northern territory and wanted to advance to Washington to force the Abraham Lincoln´s government to negotiate peace in disadvantage. His defeat not only forced him to go back to Virginia: the South was never able to threaten the North again and since that moment on, fought only on the defensive. Casualties mounted to 51,000 on both sides, the bloodiest single battle of the war.
