Answer:

9 bracelets sold is the break even point.

Step-by-step explanation:

The total costs are 7.50 for each bracelet made and 225 for the booth rental.

Let the Costs = y and Let the number of bracelets = x.

So far what you have is

y = 225 + 7.50 * x

Balancing this out is the sale price

32.50 * x is the total income.

Equation

The break even point is where

y = 32.5x - (225 + 7.50x) = 0

Solution

32.5x - 225 - 7.50x = 0             Combine like terms on the left

25x - 225 = 0                             Add 225 to both sides

25x - 225 + 225 = 0 + 225       Combine

25x = 225                                  Divide both sides by 25

25x/25 = 225/25

x = 9

The answer is that the break even point is when 9 bracelets have been sold.

Answer:

(1) False

(2) False

(3). False

(4) False

Step-by-step explanation:

According to the problem, calculation of the given data are as follows,

(1). Given,  149 + 769 = 819

By calculating 149 + 769 = 918

Hence, False

(2). Given,  556 + 336 = 826

By calculating 556 + 336 = 892

Hence, False

(3). Given,  458 - 248 = 238

By calculating 458 - 248 = 210

Hence, False

(4). Given,  658 - 228 = 438

By calculating 658 - 228 = 430

Hence, False

Is the statement (3^5)^4 = (3^4)^5 true? Explain your reasoning.
Evgesh-ka [11]

Answer:

We use the power rule of exponents to find out that both sides of the equation equal 3^20 (or 3486784401).

Step-by-step explanation:

For this example, we can just use a calculator and find out that both (3^5)^4 and (3^4)^5 are the same value. But how do we know this algebraically?

When dealing with exponents, we must have a good understanding of the properties of exponents before doing any calculations.

For this example, I recognize that the power rule of exponents is being used:

(a^{m})^{n}  = a^{m*n}

So let's apply this rule to the given equation.

(3^5)^4 = (3^4)^5

3^(5*4) = 3^(4*5)

3^20 = 3^20

Now we know both sides of the equation equal 3^20 (or 3486784401).
