Sequences are based off of the directions, if it is least to greatest it is the smallest number, if you can't figure it out it is the farthest on the left of a number line the the farthest on the tight. If it is greatest to least, it is the biggest number first and the smallest last, if you can't figure that out it is the farthest on the right to the farthest on the left.

1. It is adding 5 each time so the next two are 31,36

2. Same thing 28,33

All you have to do is find the sequence I between them. Hope this helps!

Sara can finish 5 laps around the track in 6 minutes. What is her average speed in miles per hour, if it takes 12 laps around th
sveticcg [70]

Answer:

  4 1/6 miles per hour

Step-by-step explanation:

6 minutes is 1/10 hour, so Sara's speed is ...

  speed = distance/time

  speed = (5/12 mi)/(1/10 h) = 50/12 mi/h

  speed = 4 1/6 mi/h

Sara's speed is 4 1/6 miles per hour.

A circle has its center at (0,0) and passes through the point (0,9). What is the standard equation of the circle?
Alexxandr [17]

Answer:

x^2+y^2=9^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The standard equation of a circle is:

(x-h)^2+(y-k)^2=r^2

Where the center of a circle is (h,k) and r is the radius of the circle.  In this case because a circle is equidistant from the center and we have a point where it passes through 9 that means that the radius is 9.  However, since the standard equation states that we must write r in the form of r^2 this means that r^2=9^2.  Therefore by plugging in the values we have:

(x-0)^2+(y-0)^2=9^2\\\\x^2+y^2=9^2
