Answer:

Social Issues

Explanation:

Social Issues are debates involving moral judgments that shall define how people in a society should act in certain situations or behave in social settings in general. These social issues may become social problems if the demeanor of people goes in the wrong direction and produce a chaos or moral decline in the society. So these debates are usually over virtue ethics (basically what you value, how you value things etc.). One debate is between the philosophy of utilitarianism and deontology (consequentialism vs means based). Social problems and issues are often times evaluated under particular values. For (a simple) ex. a utilitarian would value implementing a policy to save the most people whereas a deontologist wouldn’t look to save the most people if it meant infringing on the rights of the individual. So a utilitarian would care more about extinction then the most gruesome possible death of one person. Hope this helps!

which members of the notre dame worship community sang the new polyphonic music composed by leoninus and perotinus? quizlet
worty [1.4K]

Members of the Notre Dame worship community who were Soloists performed brand-new polyphonic music by Leoninus and Plotinus.

Soloists are singers of any style who perform on their own; this can range from singing the entire set by themselves to singing a "solo part" in a choir. It is often believed that the greatest approach to launching a Soloists career is to win a prominent competition. The next step is to find representation, schedule a tour, and then proceed to test oneself on stages all around the world.

Some of the early recognized composers include Leoninus and Perotin. They inherited musical genres from the Middle Ages, such as plainchant, discant, and organum. While two voices harmonize in discant, the entire choir sings one tune in plainchant.
