Roosevelt and Taft served 26th and 27th President of the U.S, respectively. Roosevelt sought to regulate trusts, and that included prosecuting big businesses that restrained trade and charged unfair prices, stamp out corruption, and also increased prestige of the U.S. Taft, the successor, continued anti-trust policies but failed to exhibit in the area of Civil Rights. Taft would not appoint African Americans to federal jobs, unlike Roosevelt.
