I think the correct answer is B. The ability to fight off predators. Pangolin's mother nurture their young ones in nesting burrows. A mother will protectively roll around her baby when sleeping or if threatened. Babies nurse three to four months but can eat termite and ants at one month.

The correct answer is C. The ability to survive until it reproduces.

In order for any individual organism, including a pangolin, to reproduce, it must survive long enough. For pangolins, this means surviving at least two years. Females, in addition, must survive through gestation so that they can give birth. It is not necessary that they bear multiple young or fight off predators, so long as they can avoid or survive predators. Only female pangolins need to be able to lactate—or produce milk—if they want their offspring to survive to adulthood.

How does the theory of endosymbiosis differ from the autogenous and horizontal gene transfer theories in explaining the evolutio
Llana [10]

Answer and Explanation;

 • Endosymbiotic theory explains the origin of chloroplasts and mitochondria and their double membrane. Mitochondria of eukaryotes evolved from aerobic bacteria living within their host cell and the chloroplasts of eukaryotes evolved from endosymbiotic cyanobacteria.
 • On the other hand according to the autogenous hypothesis, mitochondria and chloroplasts have evolved within the protoeukaryote cell by compartmentalizing plasmids or vesicles of DNA within a pinched off invagination of the cell membrane.
 • Endosymbiont theory is the theory that suggests that simple prokaryotic cells were engulfed by larger prokaryotes 1.5 billion years ago.
 • Autogenous theory is a theory that was proposed as an alternative to endosymbiont theory. proposes that eukaryotic organelles formed by infolding of the plasma membrane.
 • Horizontal gene transfer theory is an alternative to endosymbiont and autogenous theories for the origin of complex organelles in eukaryotes.
