I think that SETTLEMENT HOUSE MOVEMENT is the movement that was instrumental in creating the scene shown in the painting.

Settlement house movement started in 1884 in Britain. The first settlement house was established and named <span>Toynbee Hall. The settlement house not only provides living accommodations to poor workers but also social services and education for them.

The children in the painting may be the children of these workers. They may have been left their to the care of their teachers as their parents worked for their daily living.

Alina [70]
North Korea has a closer relationship with China because both of those countries have, at some point in their history, implemented a communist regime. Also, during the Korean war, the United States were very involved which could cause a feeling of animosity between the U.S. and North Korea.

Provide two examples: 1.collect taxes 2.borrow money; inherit powers= they obviously belong to the National Government because it is part of the nature of being a National Government. Amendment 10 states that powers not given to the federal government by the Constitution belong to the States and to the people. __________ and __________ means that the National Government is allowed to carry out powers not listed in the Constitution if they are for the well-being of the nation.
