The eye is a complex part of your body as shown in the picture. The part of the eye that takes in the light is the pupil. This is the black dot of your eyeball that takes in the adequate amount of light to focus on the objects you see. You should note that the color black absorbs lights, while the white reflects light. An analogy would be the black hole in space that sucks all matter in its range, including radiation. That is why the function of regulating the intake of light is appropriate for the pupils.

Genrish500 [490]
Marcello Malpighi was the person who used a microscope to see blood capillaries in the tail of a fish.
He was a famous Italian scientist of the 17th century, and is known as 'the father of microscopical anatomy, histology, physiology, and embryology,' so he is definitely the correct answer. Many terms in biology are actually named after this biologist.

Which part of an individual villus forms part of the lymphatic system and absorbs fats from the lumen of the small intestine?
Lostsunrise [7]
I believe the answer is the lacteals.
Lacteals are structures that are in the middle of each villi; they are lymphatic capillaries that absorbs dietary fats in the villi of the small intestines. Triglycerides are emulsified by bile and hydrolyzed by the enzyme lipase, resulting in a mixture of fatty acids and monoglycerides. The lacteals merge to form larger lymphatic vessels that transport chyle to the thoracic duct where it is emptied into the blood stream at the subclavian vein.
