Prepositions are words that are used to indicate a location, time, or direction. In this case, the word "under" would be the preposition since it shows the location of where the children sat.

Match each question type with the best organizational pattern.
Nookie1986 [14]

Hi!

Let's just start at the beginning;

Process Analysis: That is when an author analyses a progress, or essentially, explains how something is done, in writing. That would match up with How is something done.

Cause-Effect: Cause and effect has two events, one the cause, and other the effect. The cause, causes the effect, so it's essentially how something caused another to happen. That would match up with How did/does one thing affect another?

Narration: Narration is when someone recalls something, gives an account of it. That matches with What Happened?

Compare-Contrast: Compare and contrast is when two or more things are compared, and also analyzed to see where the differences, as well as similarities, are. That would match up with What are the similarities or differences of two things?

Classification-Division: Looks at the parts of something, and classifies it based on that. Matches with What are the parts and components of something?

Pro-Con: Pros and cons are generally regarded as the good and bad parts of something, where something is looked at to see the positive benefits; the pros, and the negative aspects; the cons. That goes with, How is something good or bad?

Definition: A definition defines something, it says what it is. That matches up with What is something?

Description: Describes something, with words, gives an account on something's looks, features, stuff like that. Matches with What is something made of?

Argumentation. Argumentation is when you support an idea, arguing for it, with proof and opinions. That would match with Why should something be done?

Evaluation. Evaluation is assessing something, deciding on something, based on things given. That would match with What decision should be made?

So your answers are:

How is something done: #1

How is something good or bad: #6

What are the components or parts of something: #5

What is something: #7

How did/does one thing affect another: #2

What are the similarities or differences of two things: #4

What decision should be made: #10

What happened: #3

Why should something be done: #9

What is something made of: #8

I hope this helped, if anything's incorrect, just let me know and I'll see what I did wrong!

PLEASE HELP!!!
qwelly [4]

The setting of the story was in Lublin, Poland and it was very warm outside. Chaya, the girl feeding the cows was enjoying the company. She was always happ yand always ready to help. Her sister, Rivkah, was making lunch for Chaya. Rivkah had been a great sister to Chaya, she would always have her back. One day, Chaya had a fight with her best friend rosemary about who was going to feed the dogs today. Later, Rivkah came and said they could both do it if there were enough pigs. After, the two of them were feeding pigs and no harm was done. The moral of the story is that you should not argue about little things in life, but resolve them together.
