Graphing exponential functions. Help please

For exponential equations, if the base is bigger than 1, as x →∞, f(x) will also →∞; when x→-∞, f(x) → the asymptote
if the base is a fraction, which is smaller than 1, as x→∞, f(x) approaches the asymptote; when x→ -∞, f(x) →∞
