The Missouri Compromise revealed a growing split between Northern and Southern states. The Missouri Compromise was a legislation passed to balance the power of both the states.

Missouri was slave state and north was considered as a free state. The Anti slavery group was getting stronger and so this compromise was passed to balance out the powers. Northern state is north of USA and Southern is South of USA.

Churchill war of speech was really inspirational. To understand Britain was in a very difficult time. Churchill refused to surrender Britain to the Nazi that inspired the country. His speech gave people hope that they could win when they were losing very badly.
