At the start pizza has -6
the temperature rises 13 during the transport, so it should have -6+13=7
because the temperature goes down 19 when pizza is put in the home freezer, the final temperature should be 7-19=-12
so b is the correct answer
if the temperature rises -> +
if the temperature goes down -> -

Solve for p. <br> −160=22+8(3p−4)
Aneli [31]
-160=22+8(3p-4)
Use distributive property
-160=22+24p-32
-160=24p-10
Add 10 for both side
-160+10=24p-10+10
-150=24p
Divided 24 for both side
-150/24=24p/24
p=-6.25
Check:
-160=22+8(3p+4)
-160=22+8[3(-6.25)-4]
-160=22+8(-18.75-4)
-160=22+8(-22.75)
-160=22-182
-160=-160. As a result, x=-6.25. Hope it help!
