<span>1. Fossils can help date rock horizons and can help identify similar environments when the same fossil is found in different locations; 2. Fossils helped identify how the different land masses moved/plate tectonics worked because similar fossils on different continents sometimes showed how the different land masses were once connected (e.g. Africa and South America); 3. Fossils can show how different species evolved over time.</span>

The process scientists use is simple: dig, brush, repeat. Fossils can be found in areas that once had living organisms, like lakesides and lake bottoms. To protect them they use a chemical coating. Hope I helped :D

Describe the process of writing a successful short story.
kolezko [41]

Answer:

Planning the story, create a draft, correct and publish story.

Explanation:

Although short stories have a beginning, middle and end, they are of a shorter brevity and there is always a message to give. Short stories require an exhaustive simplification because we must transmit the message and avoid losing the attention of the reader. I recommend 4 steps for writing one. Step 1: Plan the story, from creating the characters, environments, internal time (weather, whether it is day or night, time) among other narrative elements. Step 2: Write a draft version. Step 3: Correction process, where the history should be re-read to determine if there are spelling or grammar errors and to apply the necessary corrections at the same time that the punctuation and spelling are verified. Step 4: Publication.

Look at the blank with the number 9 in the passage. Which of these answers correctly completes the sentence?
Ray Of Light [21]

Answer:

The passage's context is <em>"survival in the wild"</em><em>;</em> how certain species thrive <em>under</em> adverse circumstances, being part of an untamed environment.

Thus if the <em>"Sand Cat"</em> is <em>"eking out a living"</em>, it definitely must be because it's likely <em>"</em><em>under </em><em>difficult conditions</em>". Thereby the most suitable answer is (C.): under.
