Chynna has one hour to bake muffins for the PTA bake sale. The muffins take 25 minutes to bake fully. Each pan holds one dozen m

uffins. The oven holds 4 pans at once. The oven takes 10 minutes to preheat, during which Chynna makes a large amount of batter. Which equation can be used to find p, the number of muffins that Chynna has time to make?

Total time avalable = 1 hour = 60 minnutes.
Time for preheating the oven = minutes.

Time available for baking is 60 - 10 = 50 minutes.
This allows two sets of muffins to be baked (25 minutes for each bake).

Let p = number of muffins made.
p = (4 pans)*(12 muffns/pan)*(2 sets) =96 muffns

Answer:  96 muffins

Given that you have 2 parallel lines cut by a transversal, what is the measure of angle 2?
Archy [21]

Step-by-step explanation:

angle 2 = 2x + 10 deg (corresponding angles) or 180 - 4x + 46 deg (angles on a straight line are supplementary)

therefore,

2x + 10 = 226 - 4x

6x = 216

x = 36

hence,

angle 2 = 2(36) + 10 = 82deg
