The Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe tried to ease the tensions with the soviet block in the USSR and eastern Europe by making them agree to the post WWII European status quo. It aknowledge the inviolability of the post WWII political frontiers it was signed by all European countries, but Albania, including the United States and Canada, and they all pledged to respect human rights and instaurated cooperation among the 35 signing countries.
