Answer: cell division by mitosis with little or no growth between successive divisions

Cell divisions in the embryonic development happen fast. This makes the cells don't have enough time to grow its membrane and its organelles. The lack of growth makes the cell size seems smaller as the division keep happening.

Cleavage as part of embryonic development is idiosyncratic since it involves the cell division which includes the process of mitosis with minimal or no growth in successive divisions. Hope this is right and the correct answer you are looking for.

Explain why most farmers use stem cuttings to plant new fruit trees rather than plant seeds.
Dvinal [7]

The main reason that most farmers use stem cuttings rather than just planting a seed is that a tree's genetic variation will occur. The seeds of many fruit trees tend to vary differently from the parent, because seeds themselves are produced by sexual reproduction (i.e they receive genes from a male and female to form). As they are a cross from two sets of genes, many fruit trees are not “true to seed”. Their seeds will produce a generally different variety of tree from the parent. When using stem cuttings, it's almost like a cloning process.

photosynthesis produces glucose which is stored as starch in the plant.

Explanation:

6H₂O + 6CO₂ -----> C₆H₁₂O₆ + 6O₂(as a waste product for plants)

Photosynthesis reduces carbon dioxide in the atmosphere which reduces the green house gasses in the atmosphere which reduces the green house effect.
