Answer:

2x-y=7

Step-by-step explanation:

Here we are given two coordinates through which our lines passes through. Now we are going to use the two point form to find the equation of the line.

The two point form is given as

\frac{y-y_1}{x-x_1}=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Here we are given two coordinates . Thus replacing them in the formula and simplifying it will give us the equation of the line.

\frac{y-1}{x-4}=\frac{3-1}{5-4}

\frac{y-1}{x-4}=\frac{2}{1}

(y-1)=2(x-4)

y-1=2x-8

subtracting y and  adding 8 on both sides we get

2x-y=7

Hence this is our equation of the line passing through (5,3) & (4,1)

Steph needs 2 1/2 cups of flour and 5cups of sugar for her recipe. How many cups of flour would she need for 10 cups of sugar
Ghella [55]

Answer:

5 cups of flour.

Step-by-step explanation:

she needs 2 times the amount of sugar as she does flour. (or half as much flour as sugar) 2.5 C of flour times 2 is 5 C of sugar.. so if she needs 10 C of sugar divided by 2 is 5C of flour.

1.) 2.5×?=5

2.)5÷2.5=2.....?=2

3.)10C sugar÷2=5C flour
