And expressing hypotenuse.

$c = \sqrt{ {a}^{2} + {b}^{2} }$

Now...

$c = \sqrt{ {12}^{2} + {16}^{2} } = 20$

2.

$c = \sqrt{ {5}^{2} + {12}^{2} } = 13$

3.

$c = \sqrt{ {15}^{2} + {8}^{2} } =17$
