Let's say they both do 5 chores.

Joey: 10 + (2 x 5 *No. Chores*) = 10 + 10 = $20

Julie: 5 + (3 x 5 *No. Chores*) = 5 + 15 = $20

So if they each do 2 chores the expression of joey would be (10×2)+(2×2)=24 and julie would be (5×2)+(3×2)=16 so conclusion is that Joey makes more money than julie

jeka94

Answer:

D    73º

Step-by-step explanation:

Total angles

a = (sides - 2) * 180

a = (5 - 2) * 180

a = 540

-------------------

Missing angle

x = 540 - (104 + 118 + 96 + 115)

x = 107

a is supplementary to x

m∠A = 180 - 107

m∠A = 73º

HES
LO)
What is the solution to the equation -(5-(a+1)) = 9-(5-(2-3))?
TESI
diamong [38]

Solution for given equation -(5-(a+1)) = 9-(5-(2-3)) is a = 7

Solution:

Need to determine solution of following equation’

-(5-(a+1)) = 9-(5-(2-3))

Means need to solve the above equation for "a"

On solving operation in most internal bracket we get

-(5-(a+1)) = 9- ( 5 – ( -1))

On opening inside brackets we get,

-(5 – a – 1 ) = 9 – ( 5 +1 )

On solving remaining brackets we get

-5 + a + 1 = 9 – 6

=> a – 4 = 3

=> a = 4 + 3 = 7

=> a = 7

Hence solution for given equation -(5-(a+1)) = 9-(5-(2-3)) is a = 7
