Many factors contributed to the English reform process that resulted in the breakdown of the English Church with the Pope and the Roman Catholic Church.

In the European context, triggering events can be considered:

- The decline of feudalism. The emergence of European nationalisms in the new cities.

- The invention of the printing press and the dissemination of the written bible among the upper middle and lower classes of society.

- The emergence of the common law

- The emergence of Protestantism in continental Europe

Beyond the economic and religious context of the time are a series of political events that derive in the reform:

- The desire of King Henry VIII to annul his Catholic marriage with his first wife, unable to give him an heir to the throne.

- Between 1532 and 1534 the parliament signed a series of acts of rupture with Rome that become the signature of the Act of Supremacy whose content declared King Henry VIII as the supreme head of the Church of England.

The Anglican Church began with English Reformation. The English Reformation was in part an associated process with the Protestant Reformation, which was a political and religious movement across Europe.   But also, the decline of feudalism, the invention of the printing press.

The main separation occurred when Henry VIII's desire the annulment of his marriage. The Roman Church didn't agree, and Henry VIII's declare that he was the "Supreme Head of the Church of England."

To be accurate from a chronological point of view, the Protestant Revolution started in 1517. Then in 1534, Henri VIII's promoted the Act of the Supremacy.

Henry VIII's was married to Catalina the Aragon, but she wasn't able to give an heir, so, he wanted the divorce or the annulment.  He also wanted to get married to Anne Boleyn. But, the Roman Church decline his request, that's when the English Reformation started.

Natali [406]

Answer:

Without freedom of assembly, America would not truly be a democracy. If there were no outlet for the American people to voice their concerns for the  American Government or voice their disapproval, America would not be known as the Land of Freedom.

umka2103 [35]

I believe the answer is: somewhat more

When a person make a public virginity-until-marriage pledge, they tend to be more likely to feel some sort of social pressure to follow on their words in fear of being seen as a hypocrites by other peers. This would indeed improve their likelihood to stay a virgin,   But the effect of the social pressure tend to diminish over time
