<em>Complementary= 90 Degrees </em>

<em>Equation: x + x = 90 </em>

A = x

B = x + 32

<em>2x = 90 - 32 </em>

<em>2x = 58 </em>

<em>x = 29 </em>

<em>Angle A = 29 degrees </em>

<em>Angle B = 61 degrees.</em>

Answer: Two measurements are 29° and  61° .

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

∠A and ∠B are complementary angles.

So, sum of ∠A and ∠B is 90°

so, our equation becomes,

\angle A+\angle B=90^\circ--------(1)

And according to question, it becomes,

\angle B-\angle A=32^\circ\\\\\angle B=32^\circ+\angle A------(2)

By putting the value of Eq(2) in Eq(1), we get that

\angle A+\angle B=90^\circ\\\\\angle A+32^\circ+\angle A=90^\circ\\\\2\angle A+32^\circ=90^\circ\\\\2\angle A=90^\circ-32^\circ\\\\2\angle A=58^\circ\\\\\angle A=\dfrac{58}{2}=29^\circ

So, ∠A = 29°

and ∠B = 90° - 29° = 61°

Hence, two measurements are 29° and  61° .

Find the net pay:Hours worked -- 35, Hourly Wage --$9.50, Federal tax --$35.02, Social Security -- $25.44
Llana [10]

Answer:

The net pay is $272.04 .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given in the question

Hours worked - 35, Hourly Wage -$9.50 .

Thus

Gross pay = Hours worked × Hourly Wage

Put all the values in the above

Gross pay = 35 × $9.50

                 = $ 332.5

As given

Federal tax - $35.02, Social Security tax  - $25.44

Thus

Net pay =  Gross pay -  Federal tax - Social Security tax

Put all the values in the above

Net pay = $ 332.5 - $35.02 -  $25.44

             = $332.5 - $60.46

             = $ 272.04

Therefore the net pay is $272.04 .

Pls can someone help me factorise: 4u²‐u-3
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

(u - 1)(4u + 3)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

4u² - u - 3

Consider the factors of the product of the coefficient of the u² term and the constant term which sum to give the coefficient of the u- term.

product = 4 × - 3 = - 12 and sum = - 1

The factors are -  4 and + 3

Use these factors to split the u- term

4u² - 4u + 3u - 3 ( factor the first/second and third/fourth terms )

= 4u(u - 1) + 3(u - 1) ← factor out (u - 1) from each term

= (u - 1)(4u + 3)

Thus

4u² - u - 3 = (u - 1)(4u + 3) ← in factored form
