America had a previous “constitution” known as the Articles of Confederation, which had America very disorganized. Because of the failure of this system (one example was money since the states had their own version of the dollar), people looked for a united government, and adopted the constitution

If anything that has happened throughout history its that the people need to be represented through government. Like the american revolution. Also ww2 when the satellite states for Russia wanted independence. Or Gandhi's peaceful revolution. They all show that people wont stay repressed. They show that people are willing to stand up to their governments so they can have leaders who represent them to their best interests.

The primary push factors for migration were segregation, increase in racism, the widespread violence and lack of social and economic opportunities in the South. In the North, they could find better schools and adult men could vote (joined by women after 1920). Burgeoning industries created job opportunities. Some white Southern males were also migrating North in this period for jobs, especially to Detroit and Chicago, because of better job opportunities.
