Which character best represents the colonized I'm the tempest
GarryVolchara [31]
Around 1611, tells the story of power struggles on an almost deserted island. Prospero, the exiled Duke of Milan, has enslaved the only native of the isle, Caliban, and he plans and eventually manages to regain his dukedom through use of magic. Several of the characters vie for power in parallel plots. The play was written at a time when England was establishing itself as a colonial power along with other European empires such as Spain, Portugal, and France. The Tempest certainly deals with issues of colonialism in a topical way, especially through the character of Caliban, by alluding to physical and social otherness and financial incentives of colonialism. However, the ambiguous geographical setting together with Caliban’s sympathetic traits and his unresolved status at the end of the play invite the audience to question the legitimacy of power rather than endorsing or criticizing colonialism per se.

When synthesizing texts, the first step you, as a reader, should take is to ______- .
leva [86]
b. read with clarity

As a reader, the first thing to do before creating a synthesis is to read the text clearly to make sure that you have understood and grasp the main points correctly. Synthesizing is the process of creating or establishing a relationship among articles, essays, lectures and other sources of information. You cannot synthesize or infer the relationships among the topics presented if you haven't been able to read and understand what the entire text is all about. After having read and understood the text the rest of the procedures follow.

Choose the source that would support or defend the following assertion. The cost of sponsoring our bake sale is much less than a
Kaylis [27]

C. a proposal from a local radio station detailing a popular ad

Because those holding the bake sale would know how much they are charging sponsors for sponsorships and would also know the number of people who would come into contact with the sponsor information, the information that would be needed is the same information for a radio ad campaign in order to make the comparison.  As such a proposal from a local radio station detailing a popular ad plan would be just the source needed.
