Answer: lack of policy coordination

Explanation:

The United States of America practice federalism in the sense that power is hated from federal to states and local.

One major flaws of federalism the current corona pandemics outbreak has shown us all is the lack of policy coordination between the national, state and local actions. When it comes to public health care they are often in conflict with each other. The lack of policy coordination in the country is severely hampering the task of slowing the growing pandemic.

This type of climate receives a little more rainfall than a desert region
zhenek [66]

Answer: Semi-arid climates

Explanation: Areas with semi-arid(also known as steppe) climates are transition zones between arid climates and humid climates. They receive more precipitation than deserts, but less than more humid areas. There are different kinds of semi-arid climates, mostly dependent on the temperature, therefore they support different biomes.

Hot semi-arid climates are most commonly found around the fringes of subtropical deserts mostly in Africa, Australia and South Asia. These climates tend to have hot, sometimes extremely hot, summers and warm to cool winters, with some to minimal precipitation.

Cold semi-arid climates tend to be located in elevated portions of temperate zones, mostly on the border of a humid continental climate or a Mediterranean climate and usually some distance from large bodies of water. Cold semi-arid climates usually feature warm to hot dry summers, though not as hot as those of hot semi-arid climates. Unlike hot semi-arid climates hoever, areas with cold semi-arid climates tend to have cold winters with some snowfall. These are most commonly found in NorthAmerica and Asia.

How did places like Boston protect runaways and freed people
Marrrta [24]

Answer:

Places like Boston focused on protecting runaway and freed slaves mainly because that region was the cradle of American liberalism, that is, the place where the American Revolution originated, the ideas of freedom and equality that later moved into the French Revolution, and a series of egalitarian social and cultural values regarding the human conditions of the different ethnic groups, which promoted the egalitarian valuation of Afro-Americans with respect to whites.

This, added to the lower presence of conservative religious values in the region, made the human condition of the slaves to be valued above the commercial interests that arose from their exploitation.
