45-45-90 and 30-60-90 triangles: You can figure out all the sides of the triangle by using only one side.

45-45-90 triangle: If you know one short side of a 45-45-90 triangle the short side is the same length and the hypotenuse is root 2 times larger. If you know the hypotenuse of a 45-45-90 triangle the other sides are root 2 times smaller.

30-60-90 triangle: If you know the 30-degree side of a 30-60-90 triangle the 60-degree side is root 3 times larger and the hypotenuse is twice as long. If you know the 60-degree side of a 30-60-90 triangle the 30-degree side is root 3 times smaller and the hypotenuse is 2/root 3 times longer. If you know the hypotenuse of a 30-60-90 triangle the 30-degree is half as long and the 60-degree side is root 3/2 times as long.

Please hurry find the measure of P
Inessa [10]

Answer:

m∠P = 65°

Step-by-step explanation:

An Isosceles triangle has two sides of equal length and two interior angles of equal measure.

Sum of interior angles of a triangle = 180°

If QO ≅ PQ and the enclosed m∠Q = 50° then m∠P ≅ m∠O

⇒ m∠Q + m∠P + m∠O = 180

⇒ 50 + m∠P + m∠O = 180

⇒ m∠P + m∠O = 130

As m∠P ≅ m∠O:

⇒ m∠P = 130 ÷ 2 = 65°

Which choice is equivalent to the expression below?
V-64
Sholpan [36]

Answer: E) 8i

Explanation:

By definition, i = sqrt(-1)

Which means,

sqrt(-64) = sqrt(-1*64)

sqrt(-64) = sqrt(-1)*sqrt(64)

sqrt(-64) = i*sqrt(8^2)

sqrt(-64) = i*8

sqrt(-64) = 8i

On the second line, I used the rule sqrt(x*y) = sqrt(x)*sqrt(y). The fourth line used the rule sqrt(x^2) = x when x is nonnegative.

A store holiday sale has an item marked down by $10 with an additional discount of 25% off the
ValentinkaMS [17]

Answer:

C : $58.36

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A store holiday sale has an item marked down by $10.

Discount on new price = 25%

Final price was $36.27.

Question asked:

what was the original ?

Solution:

Let original price = x

New price = x - 10

Original price - marked down amount - discount amount = $36.27

x - 10 -25\% of(x - 10 ) = 36.27\\

x - 10 - \frac{25}{100} (x - 10) = 36.27\\x - 10 - 0.25(x - 10) = 36.27\\x - 10 -0.25x +2.5 = 36.27\\0.75x - 7.5 = 36.27\\

Adding both side by 7.5

0.75x = 43.77\\

Dividing both side by 0.75

x = 58.36

Therefore, the original price was $58.36

Verizon [17]

Answer:

C & D are both, and only correct.

Step-by-step explanation:

a.)

5x + 10 = 12

x = 2/5 NOT 5/2, so this is in fact INCORRECT.

b.)

3x + 10 = 8

x = - 2/3 NOT 2/3, This too is INCORRECT.

c.)

9x + 15 = 36

x = 7/3. This is CORRECT!

d.)

8x + 12 = 24

x = 3/2. This is CORRECT!
