The process of active transport can be defined as the process by which the movement of particles takes from one place to another against the concentration gradient.
This process uses energy to transport the materials from one place to another.This process also uses channel protein which helps in the transportation of the materials.
Whereas, facilitated diffusion is the movement of materials along the concentration gradient with the help of transmembrane integral protein.
The active transport and the facilitated diffusion both involve the proteins present in the cell membrane. Facilitated diffusion transport the large and the charged molecules through the protein transport channels present in the cell membrane
when the amount of predators increase, the blue line rises, the red line lowers. when there is more predators there is going to be a less amount of prey.
