Answer is D) Large amounts of water stabilize temperatures.

In aquatic biomes, light is an important factor that influences the communities of organisms found in both freshwater and marine ecosystems as compare to temperature. Water has a relatively high specific heat, or heat capacity. It can absorb a lot of heat before its temperature rises. This characteristics of water helps it to stabilize temperature in its surroundings. Therefore, temperature is less limiting factor in water biomes.
