Simplify the following:
x/((x - 2) (x + 9) (3 x - 6))

Factor 3 out of 3 x - 6:
x/(3 (x - 2) (x - 2) (x + 9))

Combine powers. x/((x - 2) (x + 9)×3 (x - 2)) = (x (x - 2)^(-1 - 1))/((x + 9)×3):
(x (x - 2)^(-1 - 1))/(3 (x + 9))

-1 - 1 = -2:
Answer: (x (x - 2)^(-2))/(3 (x + 9))

Explain the importance of correctly placing the decimal point in the quotient of a division problem. IF YOU HAVE TIME PLEASE HEL
Morgarella [4.7K]
The importance of placing a decimal point correctly in the quotient of a division problem is that if you misplace it, you'll get the wrong answer because let's say you have the number 0001. Well if you place the decimal at 00.01 that makes it 1 hundredths. Or, if you place it like 0.001 that makes it 1 thousandths. So placing it correctly may vary your answer.

bagirrra123 [75]

Answer:

8 and 5/8

Step-by-step explanation:

The question is just subtraction of fractions. First, you subtract the whole numbers. 10-2=8. Then you subtract the fractions. To do this, you have to make them equivalent. Just multiply the 1/4 by 2 and you get 2/8. Now, 7/8 - 2/8 = 5/8. Your final answer is 8 and 5/8

Which of the following is a true statement?
Sonbull [250]

The fractional expression 18/48 is greater than 14/48 or 6/16 is greater than 7/24. Then the correct option is A.

What is inequality?

Inequality is defined as an equation that does not contain an equal sign. Inequality is a term that describes a statement's relative size and can be used to compare these two claims.

The expressions are 6/16 and 7/24.

Then the LCM of the 16 and 24 will be 48.

Then the expressions will be 18/48 and 14/48.

The fractional expression 18/48 is greater than 14/48 or 6/16 is greater than 7/24.

Thus, the correct option is A.
