To find the coordinates of V.

The formula for mid-point of a line segment is as follows,

Midpoint of UV is $\frac{x_{1}+x_{2}}{2}$, $\frac{y_{1}+y_{2}}{2}$

As per the formula,  $\frac{x_{1}+x_{2}}{2}$=5, $\frac{y_{1}+y_{2}}{2}$=-11

Here $x_{1}=3; y_{1}=5$

Substituting the value of $x_{1}$ we get,

$\frac{3+x_{2}}{2}$=5

$3+x_{2}=5\times2$

$x_{2}=10-3$

$x_{2}=7$

Substituting the value of $x_{2}$ we get,

$\frac{5+y_{2}}{2}$=-11

$5+y_{2}=-11\times2$
