Read the claim. Schools should stop doing standardized testing. Read the counterclaim. The Department of Education says that tea

ching students to do well on standardized tests helps to motivate students and keep them focused on important subjects. Read the rebuttal. On the contrary, being forced to focus on testing stresses students and limits the amount of knowledge they can gain. How can the writer revise the rebuttal to make it stronger? by rephrasing it as a conclusion by adding a statistic or a quotation by deleting it and adding another claim by pointing out a flaw in the counterclaim

The counterclaim has one important element that the rebuttal does not, which is a reliable and verifiable source that supports their position. Therefore, the write can make their rebuttal stronger "by adding a statistic or quotation".

Indirect speech:

The judge asked the lawyer if/whether he would be able to complete his arguments the next day.

Explanation:

The dialogue inside the inverted comma is a interrogative sentence or a question being asked by the Judge to the lawyer, the reporting verb 'asked' will be used.

And as the reporting verb is in past tense, the main verb will also be converted to past tense. The time mentioned 'tomorrow' will change into 'next day'

What do you know about Ollie and Fletcher McGee after reading their epitaphs?
Hatshy [7]
I learned that Ollie and Fletcher McGee’s marriage was troubled. Ollie felt that Fletcherhad taken her youth and beauty away. She continues by asking what the reader thinks isgnawing at her husband’s heart. Ollie answers with “The face of what I was, the face ofwhat he made me!” On the other hand, Fletcher says “She took the pity from my heart, and made it into smiles.” Which means somewhere in the marriage, pity turned into joy.Their marriage crumpled into the rocks and became full of hatred and manipulatio
