Two weeks before I started high school, my mother announced we would be moving . . . to an entirely different city, halfway across the country! Needless to say, I was horrified. I was certain this new school wouldn't have nearly as many options, and I knew there was no way I was going to be able to set up a new carpool with only a few days to meet new people.
