Lets calculate linear equation
assume
y = f(x)= mx +b

now given
f(0) = 2
m×0+b = 2
b = 2
so b = 2
given f(4) = 0.125 = 1/8
m×4 + 2 = 1/8
4m = 1/8-2= -15/8
m = -15 /(8×4) = -15/32

so linear equation is
y = mx + b = -15x/32 + 2

exponential equation is same as you have written

y = 2(0.5)^x

now put values of x in each equation to get value of y

x =0

linear y = -15×0/32+2 = 2

exp y = 2(0.5)^0 = 2×1 = 2

x =1

linear y = -15×1/32+2 = 2-15/32= 49/32

exp y = 2(0.5)^1 = 2×1/2 = 1

x =2

linear y = -15×2/32+2 = 2-30/32= 17/16

exp y = 2(0.5)^2 = 2×1/4 = 0.5

x =3

linear y = -15×3/32+2 = 2-45/32= 19/32

exp y = 2(0.5)^3 = 2×1/8= 0.25

x =4

linear y = -15×4/32+2 = 2-60/32= 4/32 = 0.125

exp y = 2(0.5)^4= 2×1/16 = 1/8= 0.125

Suppose that there are 15 antennas in a store, of which 3 are defective. Assume all the defectives and all the functional antenn
ohaa [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Total number of antenna is 15

Defective antenna is 3

The functional antenna is 15-3=12.

Now, if no two defectives are to be consecutive, then the spaces between the functional antennas must each contain at most one defective antenna.

So,

We line up the 13 good ones, and see where the bad one will fits in

__G __ G __ G __ G __ G __G __ G __ G __ G __ G __ G __ G __G __

Each of the places where there's a line is an available spot for one (and no more than one!) bad antenna.

Then,

There are 14 spot available for the defective and there are 3 defective, so the arrange will be combinational arrangement

ⁿCr= n!/(n-r)!r!

The number of arrangement is

14C3=14!/(14-3)!3!

14C3=14×13×12×11!/11!×3×2

14C3=14×13×12/6

14C3=364ways

You just received your final exam score from your teacher. At the top of the exam, it says you missed three questions and got 42
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

below

Step-by-step explanation:

I would guess that they added 42 and 45 and then added 1 for their mistake. That might be a bit of stretch, but that is what I think

4(x-11)^2=25
netineya [11]
Expand the square: 4(x-11)^ =25
4(x-11)(x-11)=25

Distribute : 4(x-11)(x-11)=25
4(x(x-11)-11(x-11))=25

Distribute: 4(x(x-11)-11(x-11))=25
4(x^-11x-11(x-11))=25

Solution: x=17/2
x=27/2

hope that helps
