It affects us in many ways? You could say it was what forced the government to take action to put a minimum wage and minimum pricing on goods such as corn, potatoes, etc. It also made way for the federal government to give loans out to farmers and really push to buy the surplus goods and give it to the poverty line of americans. There's a lot of things it did can you be more specific the great depression has done a lot of things good and bad in the broadest sense.

Which statement about the origins of the American population is true?
Bezzdna [24]
For A, since less than 25% of Americans are descended from Native Americans (via a quick Google search), it's safe to say that this isn't necessarily correct.

For B, since you're technically an immigrant if you're not Native American (and 100%-25%=75%=more than half), I'd think that this is right

For C, since 15 million people immigrated to the US in the 1800s, as well as that the birth rate actually dropped from about 55 to about 30-45 births per 1000 people per year, I wouldn't necessarily call it 100% correct.

For D, since there are 12.8 million Asian Americans (and over 300 million Americans), 12.8 million is clearly not the majority, proving B right
