The correct answers are Democrats and African-Americans.

The Compromise of 1877 helped to solve the crisis of who will be the next US president. Since no candidate received enough electoral college votes to win, the presidency was decided by the House of Representatives. To solve this issue, the Democrats agreed to support the Republican candidate (Hayes) and the Republicans promised the removal of the federal troops from the south. This election officially ends Reconstruction in America.

ANTONY: If you have tears, prepare to shed them now. You all do know this mantle1. I remember The first time ever Caesar put it
Andru [333]

Answer: Mark Antony recalls a memory of Caesar’s military conquest to relate to the men in the crowd who served in the Roman army.

The Tragedy of Julius Caesar is a play and tragedy by William Shakespeare, most likely written around 1599. Although the play is called "Julius Caesar," the central psychological drama of the play focuses on Brutus' struggle between the demands of honour, patriotism and friendship.

In this excerpt of Act 3, scene 2, Antony is speaking to the plebeians after the murder of Julius Caesar. In order to relate to the men who served in the army, and to add emotion to his speech, he recalles a memory of Caesar's military conquest.
