Most because getting out of jail/prison don't really know what to do with themselves after leaving because it's hard for them to adjust your life choices. most places of work won't hire you and it becomes harder to do stuff like buy a house or apartment. so most people do what they did best before prison. Your best bet would be to go to the school first and truthfully explain what happened. Most likely they will appreciate that you came and took accountability for your actions rather than waiting to get in trouble. Not to mention this will give you the opportunity to tell the truth of the situation rather than waiting for someone to potentially report false information and then the administration seeing the camera footage and assuming the worst.
It would also help if you approach the situation as if you wanted to improve your behavior and be a better person rather than just trying to avoid suspension.
