Answer: so i think for part a , the first term is a subscrpit 0 which is 10. Then the formula for any term in the sequence is Ao x R ^n. So R =2 so

1st term = 10 ( 2^0)= 1

2nd term = 10 (2^1) =20

3rd term = 10 (2^2)= 40

4th = 80

5th = 160

Part B

The limit as n approaches infinity for a sub n when R is 0, 1 and 2. THE LIMIT FOR R of 0, 1 and 2 is infinity.

I would make a tree because there are not that many possibilities. to get 99 with numbers between 1 and 50 you have 50+49 and 49 and 50 nothing else will work because if one spin is less than 49 say 48 to get 99 you need 51 which is impossible. either you 50 then 49 or you get 49 then 50. the others are a bit harder because you need to find all possible spins that will sum to 52 which is a much larger number.

The value of x is 140. 75% of this value is the answer which is equal to 105.

2. Let y be the alternative schools. With this, the number of charter schools is 2x - 6 which is equal to 52 
                              2x - 6 = 52
The value of x is 29. Therefore, there are 29 charter schools.
