The need for reforms in  a majority of muslim countries is long called for.There is need for political reforms such as totalitarian regimes, social reforms such as women empowerment and economic reforms to ensure equal opportunities for all. The effects of  the political reforms would be liberalization and democratisation of the society,the eimination of social oppression of childen and the poor,  and reduction of terrorism activities.
