He took a long journey lifelong and completly abandon the luxuries given to him at birth.

Siddhartha 's  theme , How to overcome pain and suffering in human life  arise as he observes that the common people living outside the comformt experience pain. He then addresses pain and suffering at their roots.He directed his efforts on how can pain and suffering be removed.
