Max spent 11 dollars on items. He bought milk, eggs and fabric softener. The eggs cost one fifth of what the milk cost and the fabric softener is 3 times what the milk costs. Write an equation to find the price of the milk. *Show all work please*

Ok so he has 11 dollars he buys eggs that is one fifth of what the milk cost and the fabric softener is 3 times how much the milk cost so adding 1/5 3 times 0.6 so he spent about 6 dollars on milk. Hope this helps:)
