So you have 5 as a whole right? So you know it will be 5 and something. You put 37 over 100 because it can't go over 10, so the next one would be 100. You simplify as much as possible, in this case, you have nothing, so you have 5 and 37/100

Convert it into fraction=537/100 then do the long division = 5  and 37 over 100

Sub and solve
150 grams / 12 cakes = x / 30 cakes  Cross multiply
150 * 30 = 12 *x                                  Multiply the left side. 
4500 = 12 x                                         Divide both sides by 12
4500/12 = x
