It is formulated by Cumming and Henry in 1961 and is considered as the first theory of aging that social scientists have developed. How do passive communicators often react in a complex or stressful situation?
Andrew [12]
Passive communicators do not openly acknowledge stressful situations. They tend to avoid dealing with these stressors to protect their own rights and dignity. They do not know how to react and respond to stress and as a response they get easily angered or hurt from the situation.
