On a treasure map, a X is placed at point (9, -7). if the pirates are currently on point (9,3), how many units away are they?
Alex_Xolod [135]

Answer:

They are 10 units away from the treasure

Step-by-step explanation:

Notice that the points (9, -7) and (9, 3) are both located at the same x-value (9) while their y-values are in one case 3 units above the x-axis, and in the other 7 units BELOW the x-axis. Therefore thy differ by 3 - (-7) units , which totals 10 units.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS DUE TODAY

Answer:

G) $3.60

Step-by-step explanation:

First, we need to find the unit rate of the 6 pounds of tomatoes Harry bought.

Unit rate: cost/unit

Unit rate: $4.32/6 lbs. ⇒ $0.72

This means a pound of tomatoes costs $0.72.

Now that we know the unit rate, we can find the total cost that Connie paid for 5 pounds of tomatoes.

0.72(5) = $3.60

Therefore, the correct answer is G) $3.60.

Hope this helps!
