The Franks are Captured by the Nazis
Anne and Margot Frank were spared immediate death in the Auschwitz gas chambers and instead were sent to Bergen-Belsen, a concentration camp in northern Germany. In February 1945, the Frank sisters died of typhus at Bergen-Belsen; their bodies were thrown into a mass grave.

Is it safe to drink an energy drink every day or several drinks each week? Why or why not? Support your answer with facts and de
Nostrana [21]

I don't see an article however, drinking energy drinks once a day shouldn't be bad for you. Energy Drinks stimulate the brain and some give electrolytes like "Gatorade" for example. Drinking these several times a week as long as it's not on the same day is fine.

Drinking energy drinks more than once a day can give you too much caffeine and over stimulate your brain.  It will cause you to lose sleep, over stimulate your heart rate.

Drinking energy drinks is a better way to gain energy than coffee and other caffeine drinks.

Explain why Roosevelt's speech was such a big success. Use specific language from the speech to explain what is memorable and ef
Murrr4er [49]

According to a different source, this question refers to Roosevelt's first inaugural address, which was delivered on March 4, 1933.

There are several reasons why Roosevelt's speech was a big success. First, this was delivered at the height of the Great Depression, so many people were looking forward to hearing what Roosevelt had to say.

Roosevelt also used several rhetorical devices that made the speech memorable and effective. For example, he used paradox when he said that <em>"the only thing we have to fear is...fear itself."</em> He also used pathos when he appealed to the audience's feelings, by saying <em>"nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance." </em>Roosevelt also employed logos when he said that <em>"The measure of the restoration lies in the extent to which we apply social values more noble than mere monetary profit."</em>

All of these devices, as well as the vivid language he employs, make this speech a persuasive and powerful one.

Which TWO lines in this excerpt from William Blake's "The Chimney Sweeper" use slant rhyme?
djyliett [7]

Answer:

3 and 4

Explanation:

A slant rhyme is a half-rhyme, where the words kind of rhyme, but not really. "Dark" and "work" sort of rhyme, but not fully. In a slant rhyme, the vowels don't rhyme.
