Describe the consequences of world war 1
cestrela7 [59]

Answer:

World War I caused more damage than any other war before it. 9 million soldiers and as many civilians died in the war. Germany and Russia suffered most, both countries lost almost two million men in battle.

Large sections of land, especially in France and Belgium, were completely destroyed. Fighting laid buildings, bridges and railroad lines in ruins. Chemicals and gun shells made farming land unusable for years to come

Specific Effects of World War 1:

The war changed the economical balance of the world, leaving European countries deep in debt and making the U.S. the leading industrial power and creditor in the world. Inflation shot up in most countries and the German economy was highly affected by having to pay for reparations

Which is a central idea of the article?
Setler79 [48]

Answer: A. An alliance with Ousamequin helped the  Pilgrims survive and lasted 50 years.

Explanation:

There is no article referenced however the above should be the correct answer because it is a topic or idea that a passage can be built upon and that the other options can fall under.

When the English settlers first arrived in the Plymouth Colony they made contact with the Wampanoag who were led by the great Chief Ousamequin. Ousamequin saw this as an opportunity to protect his people and so got into an alliance with them.

This alliance was mutually beneficial because it enabled an exchanged of information and absence of hostilities that ensured that the Pilgrims survived. The alliance went on to last more than 50 years.

Do you agree with the view that it was soldiers and civilians that cost Germany the war (WWI), not its leaders?
otez555 [7]
No, I do not agree that it was the soldiers and civilians that cost Germany the WWI. I believe that if the leaders had constructed a better thought out plan to defeat the other counties that they would have won. My current stand point is that if Germany appointed better Leaders that they could have easily took over Belgium within months.
