Answer: Embryonic stem cells are pluripotent, they can become all cell types of the body. Adult stem cells are multipotent, which means they can only be differentiated in cells of the tissue of origin.

Explanation:

Adult and embryonic stem cells are able to they replicate to create many more stem cells, and they can grow into different types of cells throughout the body. One major difference between them cells is their different abilities in the type of differentiated cell types they can become.

Adult stem cells are part of the natural healing process of an organism. They are undifferentiated cells, found in the body after development and they can multiply by cell division to regenerate damaged tissues. While, embryonic stem cells are derived during early development at the blastocyst stage and they can differentiate into any type of cell of every part of the body.

Research with embryonic stem cells may lead to new treatments for human ailments.
