nirvana33 [79]

The correct answer would be, Controllable Cause.

Shelby is attributing her success at baking the cake to a controllable cause.

A controllable cause is the level of effort that someone can control. There are certain things or causes that can not be controlled, like aptitude, mood, luck, etc. Skills, efficacy, efforts can be controlled.

So when Shelby friends praised her for making a delicious cake, she attributed her success to the controllable cause and told her friends that the cake was very easy to make as she had the full recipe and she followed the steps to make the cake strictly and allowed her plenty of time to get it made, which means the causes were controllable and she put the efforts to make the cake.
