Enslaved Africans were taken to North and South America during the times of slavery because there was high demand for slaves on plantations and farms across this region. There were labor intensive crops being grown in these regions and an entire economy based upon this slave labor.

Alexeev081 [22]

The correct answer would be, Kilogram. K.G.

Kevin weight his baggage before going to trip. In Kilogram the measuring scale showed the weight of his baggage. The shortened form of the unit is K.G.

Explanation:

The unit which is used to measure weight of something is either Kilogram or Pounds. The measuring scales usually have both units printed on it. But the unit which is most widely used in airports to measure weight is Kilogram.

So when Kevin was going on a trip and wanted to measure the baggage weight, the measuring scale measured the weight in Kilograms. The shortened form for Kilogram is K.G.

There are further sub units of Kilogram, which are used in measuring other quantities, for example, Kilogram, Gram, Milligram, Microgram, etc.

Another unit of weight is Pounds and its short form is LBS

How did the early Cold War affect life in the US? Explain.
slava [35]

The Cold War had many affects on education in the United States. One example is how schools would have air raid drills in case the Soviet Union launched a nuclear bomb, not that hiding under a desk would save you anyway. Another way is all the anti-Russian propaganda produced and distributed to young students.
