Franklin D. Roosevelt's presidency and his New Deal left a positive impact on American society. His New Deal programs helped America escape the worst economic depression in American history. Along with this, FDR developed different agencies that still exist in American society today that help millions of citizens.

One of the most prominent examples is the Social Security Administration. FDR created this agency in 1935 with the passing of the Social Security Act. This agency provided relief for elderly citizens, unemployed citizens, benefits for people who have been hurt at work (especially in factories/industrial lines of work). This agency still exists today and helps pay for some of the costs that elderly American citizens experience on a daily basis.

FDR also helped to implement the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This federal agency still helps to protect the money that people deposit into their bank account.

Conservatives believe that, when the government regulates the economy, it makes the economy
solniwko [45]

Answer:

Friendlier to the poor ( D )

Explanation:

conservatives believe that when the Government regulates the economy higher taxes are charged on the production of goods and services and this taxes are used in building Government owned infrastructures and they are redistributed to the poor through social security as well.

regulating the economy by the government has two distinct effect which can make the economy efficient or less efficient. example of such efficiency effect is charging of higher taxes on the production of harmful goods like chemicals which would have been overproduced in a free market hence creating a danger. while the effect of the inefficiency is the charging of higher taxes on the production of regular goods and services because this will reduce input into production of the goods thereby driving prices higher in the market.
